Fried Oysters were really good, though maybe a little small. Coleslaw was above average. Deviled Crab Eggs were interesting (in a good way). I'll be going back next year, I just hope they drop prices a little bit.

Ordered a variety of items and everything was great. Best meal i had all week. Wish I would have went here instead of the crabcake factory.

This place is awesome!!!! Best crabs in all of Ocean City hands down. My wife and I eat crabs all the time, these were the freshest, hottest, most flavorful crabs we've ever had. Staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Deviled crab eggs are wonderful!!!!! This place gets two thumbs up from me, you gotta try it!

Always a go to when I am in OC. The absolute best quality! I found he staff genuine and delightful. In addition to ordering regularly when in town, I never leave without a cooler full of crab cakes and that jumbo crab meat to take home. Expensive but you get what you pay for and its worth every penny. These guys know what they are doing and sell a superior product...! Don't leave OC without paying them a visit.

3 words CRAB DEVILED EGGS! I bet you cannot eat just one! Super friendly staff, fair prices.

We decided to eat in one night, however we still wanted seafood and we hadn't been fishing. That sent me checking out all the seafood markets. I did a pretty good job of scouting out a number of places and easily decided on Rippon's Seafood! Great job, Tony, Hah! We had gotten some fresh ears of corn some, baked beans.and cole slaw, that left me to buy a couple of pounds of spiced shrimp, some crab cakes and part of the crew wanted a few pounds of crab legs....I included the crab deviled eggs, yum! A very good idea I must say.LOL All the seafood was terrific and I'd recommend Rippon's to everyone. It's a bit hard to find, but it's worth it! Their seafood was wonderful. It made for a fun night and some excellent seafood.

The next time anyone asks me where to shop for some of the freshest seafood in OC, this is what I'll tell them: Travel up the boulevard and look for the 7-11 on the bay side. Yeah, the one with the gas station. Now.. pull in, and go behind the gas station. See that door in the back of the 7-11 building? Go in it. No seriously - go in the door. Inside you'll find Rippons - a hole in the wall seafood market with reasonable prices, friendly staff, and fresh food. And yes - get some crab deviled eggs. 'But I don't really like deviled eggs!' I didn't ask whether or not you like them - just buy a 1/2 dozen. You'll thank me later.

Day two of my vacation in Ocean City...I stopped by Rippons Seafood to buy some Maryland blue crabs, but I was sticker shocked when I saw how expensive the crabs were. I decided not to buy any, however, this negative turned into something positive. I found out that they serve an excellent soft shell crab sandwich. I tried it and I was content with the quality and flavor of their food. While I couldn't afford to buy seafood at their store, I was able to enjoy a good lunch.

Good seafood and nice staff. No place to sit but outside picnic tables. Decent prices - certainly a better value than going out to eat most places. Calamari, clams, steamed shrimp, onion rings, even fries - all quite good.

Very pricey! I would only recommend this place if you're looking to cook up your own seafood. The crab dip was $11 and tasted the same as you would buy at the grocery store. The fish is fresh and tastes wonderful if you take it home and grill it up yourself. Steamed shrimp again are pricey and just mediocre.

I had to clam strips and fries plate and the clams were pretty good. Very friendly service. I'll come back.

Rippons appears to be a local, Ocean City treasure and certainly maintains a coastal and authentic charm to it. The crabs from here are colossal and absolutely delicious. They are a little heavy on the old bay seasoning but I can't complain, it's one of the best flavors I've ever had the pleasure of eating! There seemed to have been a steady flow of loyal customers that've been coming here for many years and there's no question as to why they are avid Rippons patrons. My one-time experience rapidly turned me into a fan as well. On the downside, I would say don't bother with the shrimp, they're measly and don't quite impress much and the sides are kind of small. The onion rings are large-cut but don't measure up in terms of quantity (quality is fair). You pay a pretty penny for a somewhat small portion, so I'd suggest to pass on it, altogether. I was satisfied with just the crabs and corn-on-the-cob which was excellent.

I've been a Rippons fan for 30 years. So it's with a heavy heart that i report that its just not the same. The change in ownership didn't help them. Selection of fresh fish is down, prices up. The food is decent - i had a very good softshell sandwich - no complaints on that one. But the clams were tiny. Calamari scored a zip. Soup mediocre. In general this just isn't the same quality as years past- even as few as five years ago they would have deserved 5 stars. The only constant is change. The years have not been kind to Rippons.

We've been going there for years and typically been very happy. We got crabs and steamed shrimp from there last night and were very disappointed. There are new owners and the quality suffered. While the shrimp were a good size, there was very little seasoning. The same was true for the crabs. They were tasteless. I plan on going back there to tell them they need to add more seasoning because I really want Rippons to remain in business. I like to help the locals!

I went here on the advice of many on Yelp, but my experience wasn't very good. I would not go back especially since it's pricy. The menu is confusing and the staff doesn't speak very good English, but I was able to order a few things for take-out - soft-shell crabs, cream of crab soup and fish and chips. The crabs were fresh, but cooked in obviously old oil. The fish was in nugget form for some reason and obviously not made there. Having lived in New England for some time I am a snob about fish and chips, but seriously, how hard is it to get some fish and fry it? The soup was very tasty although had several shell pieces in it. They forgot to put sides in with my platter and gave no utensils. Overall, the food is hit or miss and the people who work there really don't seem to know what they are selling.

Yeah the crabs are delicious, yeah the lobster and shrimp are totally yummy, yeah you can get tons of fish here....but... Oh the Crab Deviled Eggs!!! These are worth the trip alone. Who was the genius that discovered adding crab to deviled eggs???? What a combo! They can't get these things out fast enough for the customers. I always get at least a 1/2 dozen when I'm getting my seafood fix. The hush puppies are really good too. Rippons-go for the seafood- come back for the Crab Deviled Eggs!
